Better get ready to get some plane tickets and get travelling, new regionally locked Pokémon have come to Gen 5.

Although if we are lucky we may see events that let us acquire these region locked Pokémon without having to splash out on expensive travelling arrangements.

A similar event has been running this last week now, allowing players to hatch 7km eggs and have the chance to obtain region locked Pokémon.

Asia: Pansage – A grass type monkey like Pokémon

Europe, the Middle East, Africa: Pansear – A Fire type monkey like Pokémon

The Americas and Greenland: Panpour – A water type monkey like Pokémon

Western hemisphere: Heatmore – A fire type anteater like Pokémon

Eastern hemisphere: Durant – A Steel Bug type ant like Pokémon

Pokémon raids:

Klink, one of the Pokémon available to battle in raids is the only new Pokémon that currently can only be obtained by catching them from completing raid battles.

At the moment the Pokemon gen 5 release announcement has simply stated that more Unova region Pokémon will be making their way to Pokémon Go soon, it’s unclear as to when that will be.

More Pokémon originally discovered in the Unova region will be making their way to Pokémon GO as Professor Willow shares more updates from his findings, so look forward to meeting them soon. C’mon, Trainer—let’s GO on this Unova voyage together!

Shinies:

If you are lucky enough to have a large collection of shinies, prepare to make that list even longer, as gen 5 brings out 3 more shinies with it.
