Top 10 Indie Games So Far 2019

We want to share the Top 10 Indie Games 2019 with you so that you don’t miss out! Indie games are often overlooked, but in my experience they’re some of the best and most addictive games going!

I’m sure you can relate to times where you’re searching through your games library and just can’t find a game to play. Maybe you’ve played everything or you’re just not in the mood for what you’ve got. These are often the moments where I turn to an Indie Game and have the best of fun!

1. Astrologaster

Astrologaster is available through the App Store or on Steam. It’s a story driven comedy game set in Shakespeare’s London. It’s based on a true story (truly ridiculous apparently).

2. Conan Unconquered

Published by Funcom, Conan Unconquered allows you to build your own stronghold and assemble an unconquerable army through savage hordes.

3. Draugen

Draugen is a single player first person Fjord Noir mystery game. It’s available on Steam and is set in 1920s Norway. You’ll explore picturesque landscapes in search for your missing sister.

4. Observation

The latest adventure horror simulation game for PS4 is set on an Earth orbiting facility. It’s a game, funnily enough, all about observation.

5. Close to the Sun

Close to the Sun takes us to the end of the 19th century in a first person adventure horror game. Climb aboard the Helios and discover that it isn’t all that it seems. The smell of rotting flesh and the painted walls ‘Quarantine’ will give you shivers.

6. Feudal Alloy

Fish controlled medieval robots is what Feudal Alloy is all about! This beautifully hand drawn world will keep you captivated whilst you smash up mechanical creatures to improve your combat and skills.

7. A Plague Tale: Innocence

Plague tale

Available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC (Steam), A Plague Tale: Innocence follows the grim tale of siblings Amicia and Hugo. Journey through history in this action adventure stealth game.

8. Balancelot

Balancelot is a medieval unicycle balancing game! Yes, there’s such a thing. You can use a controller or your keyboard to control the unicycle which is somewhat clumsy.

9. Koral

Koral discovers the beautiful underwater world through coral reefs. It celebrates sea life in a way no game has done before it. It’s already got a release for the Nintendo Switch!

10. Descenders

Descenders is a downhill mountain biking game. Ride through procedurally generated worlds where mistakes actually matter. Currently available on PC or Xbox One.
